Sports psychologist, Dr. Jen Welter, was hired to a six-week internship coaching the Arizona Cardinals’ linebackers during training camp and the preseason.

Dr. Werlter's previous football experience includes being a linebacker for the Dallas Diamonds and a running back for the Texas Revolution.

The signing with the Arizona Cardinals made Jen Welter the first female coach in the NFL.
